Fun, clean, safe, and creative! What more can you ask for from an indoor playground in Singapore?

There’s no other name that’s more fitting for this indoor playground than Amazonia! As you step inside through the reception and lockers, you will get even more immersed into the Amazon jungle with the playground’s amenities, structure, and decors. This is no ordinary play space – adults in the family can also have fun with the kids and in their own spaces as well!

The people at Amazonia certainly weren’t lying when they hailed themselves as “Singapore’s first fully themed and integrated Family Entertainment Centre”!

Amazonia: An Overview

The Amazonia indoor playground is located within Great World, previously known as the Great World City. It’s a mixed-used development that consists of a shopping mall, two office towers, and an apartment tower – it’s a one-stop destination for more than just retail and lifestyle shopping. Free shuttle service is available to the mall from Newton MRT Exit B, Chinatown MRT Exit D, and Queenstown MRT Exit B.

General Information

Indoor playgrounds usually have small spaces with a few pieces of equipment here and there that the kids can play with. In Amazonia, there’s plenty of areas where various sections for each child’s preferences can be found.

Super Play Gym

The first thing you would most probably see as you enter Amazonia is its eight-meter long slide. Adjacent to it is more features such as a huge ball pit, tunnels, obstacles, and a maze with hidden slides. If you and your child are feeling a bit more adventurous and active, you can crawl and maneuver yourselves into these hidden gems!

Toddler Play Area

For the younger ones, there are specially designed play areas with soft paddings, cute character designs, and fun play stations everywhere! You can find a big musical keyboard where your toddler can play sounds by stepping on the keys. There are also interactive play panels around this area, which will not just entertain the kids but develop their skills as well!

3D Glow Golf Course

Golf Course

This is a mini-golf course with a space big enough to house various features and life-size statues of underwater creatures and pirates! Much of the room, including its walls and floors, are glow-in-the-dark that gives a much more immersive feel to the underwater world.

Glow Spaceball

This room is much more glow-in-the-dark than the previous room because of its outer space theme. There are also 3D aliens sticking on the walls that are painted with vibrant neon space colors and planet craters. The eight canons where you can shoot glow-in-the-dark spaceballs are just as bright!

Themed Party Rooms

The Amazonia has two party rooms with different themes – race car-themed and princess-themed. The tables and chairs of each room are designed to suit their respective themes. In the princess-themed party room, the facilities and features include princess-carriages, castle-like walls, and the like. Whereas in the race car-themed party room, the tables are, well, race cars! Visit the Amazonia website to check out their different party packages you can avail of.

The Bistro: Adult Corner in Amazonia

Although adults can join in on their kids having fun, the Amazonia has created a space where they can relax and have their own quiet enjoyment as they wait for the young ones. The Bistro serves pasta, salads, sandwiches, smoothie, drinks, and pastries to fill you and your kids’ tummies after hours of fun activities.

Amazonia’s Best Features

Out of Amazonia’s many features, the one that best wraps all of them into the indoor playground it is now would definitely be its overall immersive design. There’s a room with realistic themes such as underwater, space, prehistoric, and of course, the amazon – each room unique with themes and amenities where the kids can exercise their imagination and creativity. Even the Bistro section still follows the Amazonian theme despite it being generally an adult’s space. The Amazonia is definitely an all-around indoor playground that’s unapologetic in the exhibition of its name.

Why We Like Amazonia

The Amazonia is a space where children and adults alike can enjoy themselves without compromising anyone’s comfort and satisfaction. As adults, you are permitted – encouraged, even – to play with your kids as they enjoy the indoor playground’s facilities and fun tools. If you and other fellow parents want to hang out with the kids, this is the perfect place for you to go to.
