THE CURRICULUM

Unique Programmes and services

Endeavour Primary School

  • Every Child Holistic Programme (ECHP) is a unique programme that enables the school to cater to the holistic development of the pupils and to develop their talents. Under the overarching ECHP, every child will be developed to be a leader, a writer, a performer, an artist and a responsible citizen.
  • Every Child A Performer (ECAP) benefits all pupils at various levels of development. Besides cultivating interest and nurturing talent in Performing Arts, the programme emphasises character building and citizen education to prepare our pupils for the 21st Century.
  • Nurturing Thinkers through Knowledge Building (KB) Practices (ALP) have been well developed in our school through our collaboration with ETD/MOE over the years to promote Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning. In KB, the teacher models the inquiry process while encouraging the pupils to build on each other’s knowledge via the online Knowledge Forum (KF), and to be engaged in collaborative learning.

Overall Feedback

  • Parents’ Testimonials
      • “Endeavour is my 2nd choice attempt <SHY> but personally I am pretty comfortable with this choice so far. It offers single morning session, has higher chinese, within walking distance (no traffic crossings) to my house – – perfect combination for me now ! Hopefully it’s not my Ah Q spirit working. Well, the take up rate in 2010 jumped from half empty/full last year to balloting required > 2km this year (& there are several primary schools nearby) – if anything else, word of mouth for this school must be pretty good so far. We were in the school for the registration. Compound is clean and serene. Visited the school’s websit – pretty rigid presentation but love the teachers’ respective blogs with pictures and the personal touches. I, for one, will be eagerly looking forward to my child’s class and updates and hopefully a peek of him in the picture blogs.”
      • “I think it’s really subjective in opinions. My boy is in P4 this year, some of his subject teachers this year are real good (e.g.: Maths). He doesn’t dislike Chinese now too (thanks to his Chinese teacher who gives encouragement). Last year while in P3, his Chinese teacher sucks! He hates his Mother Tongue lessons last year! It really depends on which teachers your child will get in his/her class. If your child is placed in Student Care after school, the homework will be finished in the Student Care Centre, so rarely any homework to be completed at home (occasionally there will be online homework to be completed at short deadlines). More online homework will be assigned especially when there’s a stretch of long holiday breaks to keep the students occupied.”
  • Students’ Testimonials
    • “I’m a graduate from this school… All that’s left are memories of the old school I once loved a lot… But all in all, my life was awesome”
