Marina Square Playground

Kids don’t need much to have fun. If anything, a space with fun toys, rides, equipment, amenities, and even decorations would make for just the right playground for children. Marina Square Playground is a testament to this.

Marina Square Shopping Mall was the biggest mall in Singapore just a year after its construction in 1985. As the years pass, the mall continued to expand not only in terms of space but the stores it houses as well.

Remodelling made way for more establishments dedicated to food and beverage, retail, theme parks, and the Marina Square Playground!

Marina Square Playground: An Overview

The playground itself is over 110 square metres. The numbers may look big, but in the context of an indoor playground, it might not be enough.

Other playgrounds have more significant numbers which naturally means more amenities and features that could attract more children and even their parents. But we, as well as many families, have been convinced that not everything is about big spaces.

A limited surface area and its constraints won’t stop Marina Square from providing a fun playground families can stop by in their hangouts! Other stores for parents and children alike are around the area as well.

After playing in the Marina Square Playground, you can treat yourself to restaurants for some delicious snacks after a tiring playtime such as Chic-a-boo Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut, and Beyond Pancakes.

If you want to cool down somewhere chill, there are also cafes around the area you can head to such as Gloria Jean’s Coffees and Starbucks.

There are also nearby shops like Mothercare and The Maternity House for your mommy-baby needs if ever the need arises.

General Information

Marina Square Playground has features that allow children to be as active as they want. Make sure to remove your shoes before entering the playground!

There is a playhouse where, once inside, kids can drop down a pole, fireman style! It is specially designed for children of three to five years old, so adults should still accompany them while playing.

Cars, spring riders, and four-way spring see-saw are also available around the playground.

Marina Square Playground Best Feature

The playhouse in the main playground is definitely the best feature of the Marina Square playground. It has a variety of features that fits its small space just right that children will love and enjoy.

The size of the playground can also be used as an advantage, especially for parents. You can supervise the kids within close range – you don’t have to worry about losing your children in this small area!

Why we like it

Located inside a mall, Marina Square Playground still proves to be the best indoor playground in the area. It offers features that are able to satisfy both the child and their family’s needs.

When families go out to spend time with each other, they won’t have a difficult time looking for space for their children to play in.

If you’re looking for a convenient but still enjoyable playground, Marina Square Playground is the place for you! You might also like the Junction 8 Playground!
