THE CURRICULUM
Unique Programmes and services

- The Marcellin Way, which is anchored in Marist values, is a 10-year programme which seeks to build the character and values in Marists. The main components of the programme expose students to authentic learning experiences to hone their preparation for the unknown future and the application of their own learning to be of service within the school and to the wider community, undergirded by values education. The Br. Chanel Programme nurtures bilingual Marists who are able to relate to others in both English and Mandarin effectively. Key highlights include (1) Chinese Language Elective Programme which aims to nurture promising students to attain a high level of language proficiency in Chinese and enhance their understanding of literature, and (2) Student immersion in twinning schools in Xi’An.
Overall Feedback
- Parents’ Testimonials
-
- “MSHS is VERY strong. Just to give you an idea of how strong they are. Last year, about 82 students got into GEP Selection Test Round 2, 12 students got selected for GEP. The year before, 15 students got selected for GEP. Too bad that they don’t have GEP classes, almost all their top students have no choice but to transfer to GEP schools every year. Another interesting thing is their test papers are not available in the market because students are not allowed to bring home. Parents can only look at the test papers during the Parent-Teacher meeting. Overall, their test papers’ standard is one of the highest in Singapore. So don’t worry. Your son is in good hands. Cheers.”
