‘Developing a Reading Culture’ Programme
This program aims to create and develop a passion and culture of reading among students through goal-setting and lessons on how to read.
Sports & Aesthetic Talent Development Programme
The school has implemented co-curricular activities (CCA) into the school overall plan to instill in students an appreciation for a particular activity.
Student Ambassador Programme
The SAP allows students to gain knowledge and experiences that stretch beyond the classroom. They will be participating in activities that will help them interact with others and the rest of the world while also reinforcing their sense of identity as Singaporeans.
Environmental Education Programme
Shuqun’s Green Plan is developed to deepen the students’ knowledge about the environmental problems the world is facing and encourage them to be more proactive in transferring what they’ve learned into action plans.

Parent-Child Reading Day is an annual event that aims to spark the children’s interest in reading and to provide a new means to bond between the parent and their children through reading activities while also enhancing their skills in reading comprehension.
Book Fiesta is an event that gives an avenue for students to explore and develop their creativity through reading stories, reenacting them, and dressing up as their favorite characters using recycled materials.
Sports Carnival is a sporting event where students learn and take part in various Sports or Physical Activities and develop healthy camaraderie with their class through teamwork.
M.A.D (Music, Art and Dance) Day is an annual event for students to have a deeper look and appreciation for different forms of art. Teachers, parents, and alumni members collaborate in order to brainstorm and execute new themes for each year.
P6 Stardust Competition and St@R Time (Shuqun Talent @ Recess) are platforms for students to showcase their musical talents.
