Overall Feedback

  • Parents’ Testimonials
    • This is a school that can transform our young girls to mature young ladies. They will be nurtured to become responsible ladies who can contribute well to the society.”
  • Students’ Testimonials
    • “My childhood and teenage life was shaped by the values and lessons from SCGS. 10 memorable years… how I appreciate reading, enjoy learning and dancing!  Mrs Jean Chan taught us to express ourselves through music, song and dance and she also made Literature come alive. So much so that way before we had Shakespeare in the Park, I actually loved and enjoyed Shakespeare, not from the BBC programs we would watch from time to time but from Mrs Chan’s way of teaching and helping us to relate to the language, style and context. Dance has also helped us to be conscious of our posture and poise. Many other teachers including our principal Ms Rosalind Heng, have left an indelible mark. My SCGS days…after the sun, the rain, glad that I live am I…still can sing the school song. I am proud and humbled at the same time to be a kimgek. Forever thankful to my father (a Rafflesian) who had to queue overnight (back then) to secure me a place in SCGS.”
