  • The school’s Learning for Life Programme (LLP), Sports Performance and Character Education (SPACE), is a whole-school approach to character building through sports. The LLP is anchored on the beliefs that developing a passion for sports is an important component in the holistic development of pupils and that sportsmen need to possess sound values and character. The LLP builds on the school’s niche in Volleyball. The programme provides all pupils with the opportunities to hone their physical skills and develop values of respect, resilience, passion, adaptability, collaboration and innovation (WDP Core Values) as they work towards common goals.
  • Our other LLP, Performance and Character Education through Music (PACE@Music), is progressive 6-year music and choral programme that complements the school’s music curriculum. Besides grooming talents to attain choral excellence through Choir CCA, all pupils are exposed to various singing related modules to enrich their experience throughout their 6 years in school. Pupils are also exposed to a variety of musical instruments, from cajons to ukulele, to enrich them with an encompassing musical experience. Pupils can pursue their interests further in the wide range of performing arts CCAs offered by the school.
  • All pupils also experience Philosophy for Children (P4C@Woods), an English-enriched programme conducted by teachers from Primary 1 to Primary 6. P4C lessons are engaging, communicative and collaborative lessons that facilitate 20 pupils to engage in a Community of Inquiry. Beyond P4C lessons, there is extensive use of the P4C thinking tools in different subjects to encourage pupils to be creative, caring and critical in their thinking.

Overall Feedback

  • Students’ Testimonials
    • “Its the best school I had ever been too . Teachers there were awesome . They guide us through everything and made lessons fun too . I really love this school and this is probably the last year I am staying here . 6 years had passed , and the school had grown better . I was in the volleyball team representing the school and the coach was awesome . He made trainings interesting and even when he scolds us , we listen to him in order to be better players . I love this school so much , I never want to leave it .”
    • “I am a P5 student there. What I am going to say is from the P5 2019. The teachers there are very understanding and there’s a fruity Friday at the end of each month. there’s a basketball court to play basketball and the field is open for soccer or volleyball. Anyone can play but the girl volleyball players says that only volleyball players can play but not true. Trust me you won’t regret going.”
    • “It was a good place and i made a lot of friends there… Many nice places in the school n nice food”
